About Us
From Our Love of Golu to the SRJ Family
SRJ Golu Dolls began in 2020 from something very simple — our own love for Golu.
As passionate Golu enthusiasts, my husband and I started SRJ Golu Dolls by bringing a small selection of dolls for ourselves and a few friends. What began as a small venture has grown year after year, thanks to the support, encouragement and trust of our customers, whom we proudly think of as our SRJ Family.
Today, we work with 15 skilled artisans in South India who specialize in traditional golu doll making. Each year, we personally handpick our collection, looking for traditional favorites as well as unique pieces that we believe our customers will enjoy adding to their Golu.
Through it all, the idea behind SRJ has remained the same — to share our love of this beautiful tradition and make the experience of discovering and choosing Golu dolls a little closer to home.
